Reading Reading Reading!

OK first of all I would like to say that I personally do not enjoy reading. I am not sure the last time I read a book for fun, if there was ever a time I read a book for fun, but this English class is definitely way different than any other English class I have been in. Never have I been in an English class where we read things that I actually was interested in. Even better I think this is the first English class where we are reading books that I have heard of. THANK YOU Mrs. Watson :)

  1. I agree with Tania because this is the first English class where I have heard of the books we are reading. My previous English class stories that we had to read, I had no clue what they were and I have not heard of them. These books are more up to date and what we are tend to like more, so THANK YOU Mrs. Watson :)

  2. Agree! I never liked reading, and if I do read, they are usually manga. I would much rather watch the movie than read the book, which goes to the point why I like this class. I actually enjoyed watching the movies in class, except for Frankenstein. I thought that movie clip was nasty. I wish we watched A Christmas Carol, but I guess Ms. Watson really hates to the actor Jimmy Carrey.

  3. Could not agree more, Mrs. Watson i think is the first english teacher to prove that english is worth having! Yes i might have enjoyed watching the movies (especially how to train your dragon) but i also enjoyed the fact that this class was so unique compared to prior english classes.

  4. You guys are sweet....! And we could have watched A CHRISTMAS CAROL, if you had pushed a little harder!!! I DO LIKE Jim Carrey...it's the new version of the movie itself that i don't like!
