Who Defines you and your life?

Alice in Wonderland the movie was about a girl who kept having this weird dream about being in a different world with different people than she was used to being around. there was a point where she thought she was going crazy but her father told her all the best people were. As I thought about what he said I realized it was true in some way because those are the people who think outside the box and most of them achieve great things. Also, just because you think differently does not necessarily make you crazy, it just means you do not want to do what everyone else is doing.

Though I like what Alice's dad said to her, There was one line that stood out to me overall and that was the conversations between Alice and the dog where they are talking about her defeating the jabbawakii, he tell her she can not change the path and she replies "I make the path" meaning that it was her dream or her world therefore. no one was going to tell her what she was and was not going to do.

It was not only in wonderland that she decided that she was going to be the one to set her path. She also took charge when she came back, she told everyone that she was not going to get married and she decide that she wanted to follow her fathers footsteps and get involved in business. I really enjoyed Alice's character because she was on a journey to define who she was and what she wanted out of life, and towards the end she did once again she is a character that does not let society define who she is or what she is going to do.
